less inspiration, more self-creation

i haven't blogged in ages and i miss it. i think i was getting tired of blogging other peoples' beautiful work. it seems all i really do is admire and appreciate other peoples' work instead of making my own. i really envy all the super creative and uber talented young people out there. it's so refreshing seeing people my age with a similar aesthetic and i really wish i came across it more often in day to day life. it seems like every second person i converse with is doing a degree that they don't have a passion for, let alone even enjoy. i think it's that i find the thought of wasting time and money on something that doesn't make you feel happy and inspired kind of depressing. each to their own i guess. everyone is different and there's probably no real point to what i'm even saying... articulation isn't really a strong point. i just really hope one day to be able to produce work that i'm proud enough to put on here. for now i'll just keep on with the sporadic posts and hope that on the off chance someone is reading this they'll find some of this stuff inspiring x

pink floyd said it better than i ever could.

melbourne

some photos from a recent trip i took to melbourne.
discovered so many new, hidden places that have just further enforced how much i want to move there.

i have to share a couple of places really worth visiting:
manchester press on rankins lane for the decor and bagels
vege bar on brunswick st for a ridiculously good, extensive menu
mag nation-third level for peace and quiet and any magazine you could possibly want
the warehouse on elizabeth st for drinks/coffee/hangs
bimbo on brunswick st for $4 pizzas and a whole lotta comfy couches
madame brussels for pretty outdoor settings and drinks
and centre place.. because it will always be my favourite place in melbourne
